From emergency shelter to repairing damaged homes, IOM is committed to recovery efforts in Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, IOM has helped rehabilitate 11,375 housing units in 🇺🇦. UN Ukraine

The war has left nearly 4,000 schools damaged or destroyed, further hampering children's access to education.
In 2023, the United Nations repaired or refurbished nearly 1,000 of these schools.

Ukraine's grain storage facilities have been repeatedly hit during Russian attacks over the past 2 years, impacting farmers already dealing with mine contamination & obstacles to exporting their produce.

💫 Supporting innovative ideas from youth! UN Development & EU in Ukraine brought together 50 participants for the “SOLVE_IT” youth ideathon in Dnipro to nurture and develop ideas that engage youth in community recovery processes. We look forward to seeing these ideas in action!
Russian attacks on Ukrainian large urban centres appear to have, yet again, intensified over the past days. In a week, civilians were killed, injured & dozens of homes damaged in Chernihiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv & Odesa - the last two were hit today again.
This must stop.
