There is still time to book for today's Clay Crafts Children will be getting messy with air-dry clay to create a fish, then use materials such as sequins to decorate their fish before taking it home. £5 per child. Book online bit.ly/3WMkFKc or pop into the museum

Wallingford Street, Wantage. Taken in the 1960s. On the right is UJ Reeves & Son fish & chip shop, and Campbells on the left. In the distance, is St Andrews School, founded in 1950 by Miss Barbara Clarke, it was a private primary school for boys and girls which closed in 2010

This Thurs the Friends of VDM will be joined by Liz Woolley to find out the interesting history of 19th century Oxford food, such as the 'celebrated Oxford sausages', Frank Coopers 'Oxford Marmalade' & much more Visit bit.ly/4fie3fa to book tickets Thurs 26th Sept 7.30pm
