Traffic lights are flashing yellow on Hoddle Street at Victoria Parade, due to a fault caused by the rain. Several sets of lights also out across the city . If you encounter traffic lights out proceed with caution using the same rules as at a stop or give way sign.

While the best advice for driving during floods is to avoid it altogether, if you need to drive when it’s raining, there are some things you can do to stay safe.
- Turn on your headlights
- Slow down
- Be alert for changing conditions
