Got round to updating our staff communication keyrings so that they have tabs to make it easier to find specific symbols. Photos are on the back of each symbol. This has been on my to-do list for over a year 😂

I found this magnetic book ‘Muddle Farm’ in my mum’s house that I used as a student on placement… And it worked a treat for targeting the word ‘where’! We took it in turns to hide the animals on different pages and asked where they were 😊

For so long we wanted an AAC system that was going to enable Arabella to communicate her needs, requests, wants etc. To us as her family this was paramount, as was her being able to access a system that could enable her to tell us if she is hurt, sick, her feelings etc.
