Time for a little Herd baseball on ESPN+ today. Marshall and Texas State square off at noon, with MU going for the series sweep. I’ll join Steve Cotton on the call.

Ironton strands 2 runners in the 7th and falls to Indian Creek 5-1.

Indian Creek strikes for 4 runs in the top of the 5th. BIG hits - double to deep right center and a triple to right field. Heading to the bottom of 5, the Redskins lead Ironton 5-1.

Ironton ties the game in the bottom of the 3rd. Connor Kleinman singles and steals second. He scores on a 2-out single to left by Ian Ginger
After 3, the Tigers and Indian Creek are tied at 1.

Indian Creek draws first blood on a sac fly to deep CF. They lead Ironton 1-0 as the Tigers bat in the bottom of the 3rd.
