In a joint study with #WashUCardiothoracic surgeons and WashU Public Health Sciences and WUSTL Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine researchers, the team compared outcomes after lung transplantations at North American and European medical centers. Dr. Chi will be attending in the MICU and pursuing a fellowship in palliative care. He has most recently has been involved in using machine learning to predict outcomes in high-risk patients as part of a system wide initiative to increase advance care planning in the hospital.
