This month is #DeafAwarenessMonth Emma, who you'll know from our canoe safari, is sharing some British sign language relating to Martin Mere throughout the month. This week, we are learning duck, bird, goose, and swan. Take a look and have a go at doing some of these yourself!

Such a wonderful sound and sight 🔊 Yesterday we saw this large flock of pink-footed geese flying into the mere as they return from Iceland to spend the winter in the UK. We are now over 1000 in numbers and counting! Welcome back!

3200 Pink-footed geese can be seen flying into the pools at Ron Barker or Plover field next to the Rees hide. Yesterday a Russian White-fronted Goose was on the mere. Numbers of Cattle Egrets are still increasing with 32 seen. Read our latest sightings:wwt.org.uk/wetland-centre…
