I stopped off at Wakefield Cathedral this morning before getting a connection elsewhere to give a talk. Wakefield and Bradford Cathedral are two recently (relatively) reordered Cathedrals in Diocese of Leeds that always impress me. Wakefield's is a warm, welcoming building.

Some more shots taken this afternoon of Wakefield Cathedral including the brilliant late medieval owl (one of two) in the choir stalls; the 1661 font (an important dated font for sure!); war memorial and nave furnishings (I particularly like!).
