Here's the conundrum created by yet another awful preseason ranking: some will give Boston College major credit in the next poll because they beat a team they'll no longer rank. It's possible BC is good, but you can't say it's because they beat a team you're ranking as not good.

According to this "100 Years of Auburn Football" from 1992 on WarEagle+, Auburn used to be called Alabama A&M College. I feel like I knew that, but then I don't. Strange that nobody picked up on it last week.
