September's #LibraryTreasures is an amazing eagle! It's from an address on 'The Eagle And Its Young', by Revd James Johnston (1819-1906), missionary in Amoy, China, and then minister in Glasgow. The artist, Robert Kretschmer (1812-1872), was known for his animal engravings.
