“It sucks losing. More, it sucks losing like that.”

Wednesday's 32-point loss in Game 2 was one of the lowest moments of the Brandon Ingram/Willie Green era.

Now, the entire season comes down to Game 3. But it could be much more on the line.

Willie Green on message to team after 32-point loss:

'It's one game. They took care of their homecourt. That's what they are supposed to do. We wanted to come in and get one. We didn't. Now we regroup, we get home and we take care of homecourt.'

Final: Thunder 124, Pelicans 92

Valanciunas 19 ts, 7 rebs
Ingram 18 pts
Jones 18 pts

Pelicans get crushed to fall behind 0-2 in the series. Everything that could go wrong did in this one. Offense was bad, defense was worse. Pels gotta pick up the pieces or a sweep is on the way

Complete implosion from the Pels tonight. Eighteen turnovers. Eight offensive fouls. SGA, Chet and Jalen Williams have combined for 78 points. Currently down by 31.

Just an awful performance all around.

Make it eight offensive fouls for New Orleans. Seventeen turnovers overall. So many possessions just thrown away by them tonight.

OKC's lead is up to 99-76.

End of 3rd: Thunder 92, Pelicans 74

Valanciunas 17 pts, 7 rebs
Ingram 16 pts (12 in 3rd)
Jones 16 pts

BI finally got going, but the Thunder only extended the lead. Pels gotta find a way to get some stops. They've had zero answers so far.

Willie Green is going with Dyson Daniels at the 5 now since Larry Nance is in the locker room. Pels are running out of answers on the defensive end. With no Nance, I'm not sure if there are any right answers.

Larry Nance came up limping after that last play. Looked like it was either his right knee or his right ankle bothering him. He's headed to the locker room.

One of the last guys the Pelicans can afford to lose in this series.

BI has picked up his aggression in a major way. He's got 12 points in the quarter. But the Pels are still struggling to get enough stops to put a run together.

SGA and Chet are shooting a combined 17-26 from the field.

End of 1st half: Thunder 63, Pelicans 50

Valanciunas 15 pts, 5 rebs
Jones 10 pts
McCollum 9 pts

Nightmare 1st half for the Pels. Chet and SGA combined for 36 points. BI has more turnovers (3) than FGAs (2). OKC also shot 10-18 on 3s. They're lucky the lead is only 13.

BI also has to show up at some point or this series will be over quick. Four points and two assists in a half ain't gonna get it done.

Willie Green adjusts by going to a zone on the last possession. That's one way to prevent OKC from targeting JV.

The one problem is if OKC keeps making 3s at this pace, zone probably won't work either.
