Everyone at the club is deeply saddened to hear of Don Brook’s passing. He was one of the greats of Oxfordshire Cricket and of course Tiddington CC. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and best wishes are with all his family, friends and Tiddington CC.

Finally cricket is back at Newland!! Yesterday we hosted Oxfordshire Cricket against Worcestershire CCC and the sun was finally shining!!

And here we go!!! The 2024 Cherwell Cricket League season is nearly upon us. It's a historic weekend for the club as we field a 4th XI for the first time in our history. Thanks to much to our amazing kit sponsors. Here's to a great season for all!

Back to back 9 wicket wins for the 1st XI. A seriously high level bowling and fielding performance blew away Hook Norton Cricket Club for 60. The big man Armand Wessells led the way with 6 wickets! The new 50th anniversary Cherwell Cricket League stumps took a battering on debut!!!

A 100 point weekend for the club! Get in there!! Well played to all, but a special shout out to the 4th XI who won their first ever match as a new team!!

Here are this weeks Cherwell Cricket League fixtures in the last game of the win/lose matches.

A mixed day. We managed to field 4 teams despite having a loads of players missing. The 1st XI made it five in a row with a demolition of Oxford Cricket Club, the 2nd XI had a thriller against Ascott-U-Wychwood Cricket Club which ended in a tie. Unfortunately the 3rd and 4th XI fell short.

Week 7 Cherwell Cricket League fixtures incoming. The sun is going to be shining and it will be considerably warmer than last Sat! Good luck to all who are playing. The 1st XI are at Newland this week and the bar will be open all day.

Come and join us for our annual club family day! This year the main action isn’t a Mills game. We are very proud to be hosting Oxfordshire Cricket v Wales Ladies. The match starts at 11.00am. Theres a BBQ and ice cream van, bar will be open all day and the Euros Final in the evening.
