Queen Creek wins the boys’ Open Division state track and field team title.

The Bulldogs finish with 43 points. Chandler with 42 and Desert Vista 41.

Chandler wins the boys’ 4x400 state championship. Queen Creek second, Chavez third and Desert Vista fourth.

This is going to come down to a point or less for the team title

The Hamilton boys have just been disqualified from the 4x400

Hamilton girls have won the Open Division track state championship. The Huskies finish with 55 points.

Eastmark’s Bryson Nielsen wins the 3200 with a time of 9:11.72

Heck of an effort by North Canyon’s Killian Grimm in the boys 3200.

He fell early on in the race and it looked like he dislocated his shoulder. He stopped for a moment, popped it back into place and finished the race.

Gilbert’s Vance Nilsson just DESTROYED the 300 hurdles national record with a time of 34.83.

This is the first time in U.S. history a high school athlete has run under 35 seconds in this event.
