Public ownership of rail is a no brainer.

But it has to be combined with investment.

Unfortunately Labour adopting a Tory fiscal rule, plus ruling out hiking taxes on the well-off, blocks that.

If you want to see public ownership plus insufficient investment - look at the NHS.

Zack Polanski is right, so many pledges by the Labour Party, but we know Keir Starmer U-turns, like with their £28 billion climate pledge.

We could at anytime expect a U-turn from Starmer, or the Labour Party.
