Did you know today is Baw Baw Frog Day? ๐Ÿธ Zoos Victoria's scientists have been out in the field releasing 42 adult Baw Baw Frogs to the slopes of Baw Baw Plateau. Its a small hop in the right direction to bring Victoria's only endemic frog back from the brink of extinction.

Happy World Wombat Day to our favourite waddlers! Healesville Sanctuary's resident wombat, Milo, spent the day chomping on some food, having a scratch, sliding down a rock and of course, waddling around!

What a strongly bonded pair of Eclectus Parrots looks like! After breakfast, Lameroo will fly up to a higher perch and feed the female, Pinnaroo. In the wild, this behaviour is common as a female spends most of the year in a nest, relying on the male to come and feed her.
