Deep cuts to HE ArtsEd budgets since 2021, and most recently last week, demonstrate this.

We are appalled that the Government is once again singling out arts & creative subjects for funding cuts in Higher Education.

Many courses have already closed and a growing number are at risk.

This attack on the arts must stop now.

In 2021, the government cut funding by 50% to subjects identified as non-priority / high-cost:

- Performing Arts
- Creative Arts
- Media Studies.

Three years on, the impact of these cuts continues to bite, not least when it comes to course quality, range and availability.
