I grew up loving these creepy John Bellairs books, with their macabre Edward Gorey covers. Pretty neat to get Bellairs’ personal copies of them!

Can someone call art history Twitter for me? Seeking info on this Durer engraving (etching?) from a Grangerized (ie older prints added, inlaid and bound in) 1820s set of Pilkington’s “Dictionary Of Painters.” Google image search isn’t helping me so far….

Another mystery from the Grangerized book I just got… Rembrandt etchings, but no idea when/where they were printed. I love my hobby ❤️
