Who does not love a Water Vol, especially the ones RSPB Minsmere 🌍 in the visitors centre pond. They are to be found most days feeding on the fresh growth/pond weed. They always bring smiles to all who see them. My memories of water vols takes me back to The Tales of the River Bank

Today, I revisited a #wildlifepond that I created back in April this year, to be greeted by what I can only describe as the best testament to the health of this habitat - a female Southern Hawker #dragonfly laying eggs on some of the intentionally placed rotting logs. Perfection!

It’s hard not to be amazed at the resilience of #nature. Left pic - Evening Primrose growing from a crack in the pavement. Right pic - Buddleja growing half way up a wall! 😳 We need to learn to live alongside nature 💚
