RIP Damo Suzuki. With Can he was essential in the slightness of his presence, a butterfly within the great wheels of their sound, a rebuff to the conventional rock notion of singer-as-frontman, wispy, airy, buffeted, yet insistently colossal. He is Damo Suzuki, always.
