Testing new SatDump autotracking/scheduling feature. Aang254 has done it again with a great new tool for the package! METEOR M2-2, tracked and recorded automatically.

At the latest Nightly build Satdump, putting overlays at autmated APT receptions now works

nice fix Alan !

NOAA-18 APT west pass πŸ›°οΈ ( MSA overlay )
(note: all still W.I.P. no warranties)

Another (WIP/Draft) feature in SatDump : Fully automated reception & tracking.

Here it is running on CO2ESP's station, doing HRPT autonomously. Far from perfect but it seems to work!

METEOR-M N2-3 reactivated it's IR channels. They are still not cold enough and a bit fuzzy, but definitely going into the right direction :)

The Sun rotates on average every 27 days. This depends on the latitude you observe on the Sun but it's been about one solar rotation since amateur STEREO-A observations have begun. Enjoy a solar day...

Looks that the STA in the Aug 17th when arrive at the more near point to Earth, it will be 24h at low rate. Can be nice an amateur collaborative RX with all the people involved in UHF Satcom πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ πŸ“‘ πŸ“» Scott Tilley πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

Doppler update for 2023-07-21.

The transmitter at ~2203.2MHz has shifted up by 36.019KHz. The first change seen on this channel so far in the mission. I have seen changes on the 2241.6MHz channel which caused me to use this channel for Doppler analysis. πŸ§΅β¬‡οΈ
