Mala Kumar is joining us for our Queer Voices panel on Sep. 23! She will be talking about her novel “The Paths of Marriage,” a tale of coming out in a South Asian family, and her forthcoming book, “What it Meant to Survive,” which is based on the story of her and her wife.

Nirmala Garimella and Anu Chitrapu are longtime friends who came together during the pandemic to note down the recipes their cherished from their families. Going beyond the typical main dishes, this self-published book focuses on the condiments that make Andhra cuisine unique!
