May Allah reward Muhammad Yasir Al-Hanafi for the honest and direct answer. “That’s what it means to be an action…to be created.” So according to the Ashari school, Allah does not have an “Act of speaking” that is His attribute. Shams Tameez, someone who supposedly teaches Kalam, said
