Prof. Tasssew W/Hanna, AAU President met with Terence Jagger, Chair of Governors of Bath Spa University, today Nov. 30, 2018 and conferred on potential cooperation. Prof. Tassew and Mr. Terence Jagger also signed memorandum of understanding for future cooperation.

AAU promoted six scholars to the rank of full professorship. Prof. Hirut Woldemariam, Prof. Teferi Gedif, Prof. Miruts Gidey, Prof. Hagos Ashenafi, Prof. Merera Gudina and Prof. Getachew Asefa.

AAU ranked 887th in the world and 16th in Africa improving its world rank from 1003rd last year (2017/18) to 887th in 2018/19 university ranking by academic performance and from 19th to 16th in Africa.

#AAU Addis Ababa University launched Handbook of the Ethiopian Economy which is the first ever Oxford Handbook on a single African country.
