๐๐ฃ๏ธH delivering remarks on Ms. Parks's personality and on her life beyond the bus. In the 1930s, well before her famous act of resistance on the Montgomery bus,Ms. Parks was documenting the stories of Black victims of rape in Alabama. Her life was devoted to activism early on.๐
๐๐ฃ๏ธMore from H.H. on Rosa Parks, incl. her little idiosyncrasies, what she adored (gospel music, cookies), her lessons. She believed that fear was the origin of racism. Also on the moments that Lady H and Ms. Parks shared - having tea, going to church, hosting gospel brunches.๐
