Now everyone customize/share protein language models for their custom task/dataset via Colaboratory 🤓 Paper: biorxiv.org/content/10.110… Colab: colab.research.google.com/drive/1nxYBed3… Credit: Jin Su, Zhikai Li, Chenchen Han, Yuyang Zhou, Junjie Shan, Xibin Zhou, Dacheng Ma, fajie yuan
Excited to share new work from Garrett Ginell in which we present an approach for predicting intermolecular interaction driven by disordered regions. We focus on how chemical complementarity can contribute to and even dictate intermolecular interactions biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…
Super excited to announce that Abhilash Sahoo 's work on building a Martini microtubule is up on bioRxiv!
It was wonderful to have around 60 Sauer Lab alumni at MIT Biology this week, spanning from those who started in 1978 to now! Great scientific talks and tributes for the legendary biochemist and mentor, Bob Sauer.
Our WUSM Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics Dept will be having a junior faculty search this coming fall. It is open to any broad areas biochemistry and biophysics, although we are highly interested in metabolism, RNA and membrane proteins/lipids. Come join us! Please apply at facultyopportunities.wustl.edu/apply/Posting/…
Check out our latest work! 👇We leverage pretrained protein generative models (here Chroma Generate:Biomedicines ) as a prior for inverse problems in protein space (e.g. structure completion, distance contraints, cryo-EM model building). ❄️🏗️ Paper: arxiv.org/abs/2406.04239
Fun dinner at #AC2024 with Alireza Ghanbarpour Laurel Kinman Steve L. Bonilla look out for amazing science coming from all these #newPI 🔬❄️
Had an amazing time at #ACA2024, presenting my work on a membrane-bound AAA molecular machine, meeting talented PIs Bou-Nader lab and Steve L. Bonilla, and hanging out with my awesome labmate Laurel Kinman and mentor Joey Davis @[email protected]. The keynote talk from Catherine Drennan was inspiring!
Incredibly fun to work with Alireza Ghanbarpour and Bob Sauer on this project - read more here: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…. Also, exciting things brewing in the Ghanbarpour lab at WashU, be sure to check out Ali's new group (sites.wustl.edu/ghanbarpour/)!!
Congratulations to graduate students Abdallah Mohamed from our group and Peter Wang from the Bartel lab on determining the structure of human AGO2 in the slicing conformation. This was a challenging project with many exciting results. Read our preprint to learn more!
