“This facility is the result of a vision that I think has exceeded a lot of people’s expectations,” ⁦UA System Div of Ag⁩ chief Deacue Fields.

Fields addresses the private and public partners in this research and extension and says the new @nearkrice “isn’t our facility, it’s your facility.”

Rice grower Marvin Hare says the discoveries and outreach by ⁦UA System Div of Ag⁩ has helped Arkansas farmers increase their yields over the decades.

Jim Whitaker, who didn’t come from a farming family, said “wouldn’t be where he is without extension … I lived at the extension office” learning how to be a #rice farmer. He was among those speaking at NE Rice Research and Extension Center grand opening.
