Our children will ask how we allowed such a massacre to happen in plain sight. How will we answer them? What crime did these four-day-old twins commit? Were they Hamas too? Where are the sanctions against Israel? Such inhumanity, and yet some people still choose silence.

The attainment gap is simply a proxy for poverty. And you don’t cure the ills of poverty by eradicating the proxies. You cure the ills of poverty by getting rid of poverty.
