Onto DNC Convention Day #4!

I am sharing a personal statement that my family and I have made in response to my brother’s announcement.

What a week. I am so honored to have represented College Democrats of America at the convention.

Yesterday, a notable figure in NJ said there are “two very good candidates running” in the NJ Senate race. College Democrats of America couldn’t disagree more, and we stand strongly with NJ’s next Senator, Andy Kim. Those kinds of remarks are not helpful when we have an election to win.

Donald Trump called those in uniform suckers and losers. He instigated an insurrection at the Capitol that almost cost us our democracy. He also insulted those in uniform, like Senator McCain. You lost in 2020, and you can’t get over it. It’s crazy how fast someone can change.

Democratic officials in NJ need to wake up and endorse Andy Kim wholeheartedly if they haven't already. This isn't a game. It's a fight for our future and for maintaining a Democratic majority in the Senate.

As the fall semester begins at colleges across the country, it’s great to see the momentum at College Democrats of America chapters. Many chapters have already hosted their first meetings of the semester with outstanding turnouts. College students are ready to vote for our future!

In November, young Americans are going to turn out in record numbers to ensure Donald Trump never steps foot in the Oval Office again. College Democrats of America is working every day to make that happen.

It doesn’t have to be like this. No student should have to question whether they will walk out of their school doors at the end of the day. Sending love to everyone who has been impacted and thinking about those who have to relive certain memories today.

Just watching the Trump town hall right now, and he’s boasting about how he got us the Keystone XL Pipeline and how Biden stopped it. Just a reminder to NJ-1 folks: Congressman Donald Norcross 🇺🇸 strongly supported the pipeline while accepting campaign contributions from ExxonMobil.

It’s not productive to go after the Congressman for not endorsing Andy Kim sooner. He’s now endorsed Andy Kim (which is great news) and we have an election to win. Our focus should be winning in November.
