👏 👏 👏 Remember when League 2 crowds in years gone by would have only been a 1/3 of this. Great following from Grimsby too 👏

This is factually not true. 🧮 England ranked 11th in maths in the PISA results published in December - we were 27th in 2009 📚 We ranked 13th for reading - 25th in 2009 🧪 We ranked 13th for science - 16th in 2009 Source: gov.uk/government/new…

Today Andy MacNae MP voted to strip Winter Fuel Payments from >11k residents. He also stood up in Parliament and said it was the right thing to do. Think he's rapidly finding out that his constituents disagree.

🫣 There are some desperate takes doing the rounds by Lancashire MPs trying to deflect from their decision to rob pensioners of their Winter Fuel Allowance, but this has to be among the worst. Jamie McGowan is Burnley through and through and cares deeply about his home town.

“With officials insisting they need more time to ensure the figures are accurate” …. kind of speaks for itself doesn’t it?
