The similarity to MCAS here is uncanny. But the SSJ was flying before Boeing even announced the MAX. It’s amazing that the SSJ went this long with such a critical flaw, much like the MAX, but it went unknown until now.

It is indeed very odd that so many LCCs around the world can figure out how to sell substantial food items on even very short flights, but some of the US majors, especially AA, can't do it at all.

Our current mayor's inner circle is being raided by the FBI and our last mayor is posting videos of himself putting coconut on pizza for reasons that remain unclear. I love this town.

On this week’s AvTalk, we discuss Russian investigators’ preliminary report on July’s Gazpromavia Superjet crash. And inspections are set for the A350-1000 fleet after Cathay’s inflight incident. flightradar24.com/blog/avtalk-28…

US media taking Trump’s incoherent, contradictory ramblings and cleaning them up and framing them as astute, serious policy proposals is an increasingly common form of journalistic malpractice. Read this whole thread, it’s a practice that has veered into outright lying.

.United Airlines says its most popular domestic destination this summer was…Boston?! I’d love to know by what metric BOSTON was United’s “most popular” domestic destination. Its presence there is so minimal, with routes only to UA hubs.
