Congratulations Alice! Alice Merryweather of Grey Group Rao Group spoke to us about the challenges of linking #battery research and #OpticalMicroscopy in a technique that allows researchers to see inside batteries.🔋🔬 Read her researcher spotlight⬇️ faraday.ac.uk/researcher-spo…
.Didi Rinkel of Grey Group spoke to us about her love for NMR spectroscopy and its application to #BatteryScience, and how the Faraday Institution facilitated her collaboration with Dr Nuria Garcia-Araez of @UoSChemistry 🔋 #Faraday500 faraday.ac.uk/researcher-spo…
Welcoming the new academic year at the Maxwell Centre with our new cohort of 16 amazing scientists and engineers 🧪🔬📱⚡️
It's been a great first day at #SMRS23, excited for the rest of the week! Materials Research Society (MRS) 👩🔬🔬
After signing a really big book, I'm now officially sworn in as a Junior Research Fellow at Newnham College. Excited to be joining this wonderful and friendly college! 😁
Every beamtime Diamond Light Source amazes me with expmntl capabilities we have to deep dive into materials we investigate. This time Diamond I14 Beamline with George, Alice Merryweather. Sleepless, but successfully collected data of ~1.2 Tb🫣all due to smooth runs assisted by amazing i14 team.
I have started as an Assistant Professor at Warwick University Warwick Chemistry . Very excited to continue trying to push science at the interface of optics, imaging, spectroscopy and materials chemistry/physics! (Check-out iccd-lab.com to see what we will be up to!)
Great to see this out - we demonstrate using (transient) optical microscopies that some types of defects in thin film hematite catalysts can promote activity! Nice collab. with Durrant Group Rao Group Camilo A Mesa Michael Sachs Cavendish Laboratory Warwick Chemistry nature.com/articles/s4146…
It's been fantastic to share work from illumion at the Warwick Battery Days 2024 Workshop. Thank you to the organisers at Warwick Chemistry University of Warwick for the chance to present and for putting together an excellent event! 🔋🔬 #battchat #batteryresearch
