I had the privilege to present on the panel in the thematic 2: The role of youth in drug use prevention through social media at the ongoing UNODC Technical Consultation Meeting on “Social Media and Drug Use Prevention” in Vienna.

My topic: Harnessing Youth-Led Evidence-Based Interventions and the Role of Youth in promoting it through social media was a practical showcase of the work we do with the University in the prevention of drug use in Nigeria.

TEDxBauchi The stark reality in underserved communities is that young people have greater access to drugs than to basic education, exacerbating insecurity and fueling rising crime rates. This crisis is compounded by the absence of effective policies that address the unique needs.
