Booting a credentialed journalist from a political party assembly, especially one who represents a statewide news organization like the The Colorado Sun, undermines the vital role of the free press and directly impacts thousands of Coloradans who rely on The Sun for coverage.

I’ve seen three TikTok creators make content based on The Denver Post news stories today. When you say you get your news from TikTok, Twitter, IG, etc., a reminder that if it’s a real story, it came from somewhere. Without local news, the news ecosystem is SOL.
