With the approval of the Election Law, Election Commission Law and the Law on Political Parties, the government reaffirms its pledge to return power to the Somali people. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to democratic governance and fair elections.

Skeptics need to trust in the people's right to vote and the sanctity of the ballot box. We've endured indirect elections for too long. Somalia must progress, and though it's not easy, President HSM is taking on the challenge, just as he did when he created our federal system.

Grateful to Türkiye for hosting and mediating the Ankara II talks. We’ve made positive strides toward overcoming the challenges stemming from the illegal Ethiopian MoU. Although we haven’t reached a final agreement, we’re optimistic about the upcoming third round.
