Huge thanks to our fantastic volunteers for helping us pull Himalayan balsam at Worth Abbey today 🤩🤩 We’re really getting on top of balsam here, and with each plant able to produce between 500 -2,500 seeds, that’s a lot of downstream infestations prevented 🙌

A year ago the Holkham with the Norfolk Rivers Trust & Charles Rangeley Wilson embarked on a project to reconnect an ancient chalk stream back to the floodplain This is the result, amazing what you can achieve when you work collectively allow nature some space
