Another cracking 1457 society day out discovering the joy of 9-hole courses in Perthshire. Stunning landscapes, great camaraderie and the perfect blend of challenge and beauty. We had a lot of fun embracing the shorter game on our latest adventure at Comrie and St Fillans.

The Open returns to Ayrshire this July, 164 years from its inaugural play over the famous old links of Prestwick Golf Club Did you know the 17th at Prestwick is the oldest hole in championship golf still played on today!

Just a hop, skip and a jump from this years Open venue lies Dundonald Links a modern day championship links with first class accommodation to match. Dundonald has absolutely everything you need, or would want, and is the perfect base for exploring golf in Ayrshire.

As America celebrates Independence Day, it's incredible to think that Royal Musselburgh Golf Club is two years older, having been established in 1774! Congrats Royal Musselburgh on an amazing 250th anniversary.
