A heartfelt thank you to all the incredible presenters from the Cook Center for Human Connection and community partners who made the Small School Districts’ Association (SSDA) Leadership and Happiness Symposium at the Cold Spring School District a remarkable success!

Gratitude to Cold Spring graduate & Santa Barbara High student, Evryn Kneafsey, for creating a beautiful produce stand for our Cold Spring students. This incredible project, part of his Eagle Scout journey, will allow our students to sell the items they harvest from the garden.

You’re blessed when your front row lineup challenges you to be your best in every area of life. Tonight, we pushed our limits with a 500-meter ocean swim. I experienced that it takes a lot of mental strength to stay focused when you’re not out in front. I just got stronger.

This afternoon, I had the privilege of giving an inspirational talk to the Westmont College Cross Country team alongside their coach, and my former coach, Russell Smelley. I aimed to instill in them the same principles coach Russell taught me as a student-athlete.

It's the night before the first day of school, and we're putting the final touches on our campus—a perfectly clean drinking fountain and a serene garden where students can find peace. Nothing is more magical than the first day of school. Cheers to the countdown!

My favorite race of the year—Santa Barbara She.Is.Beautiful! Despite strained hamstrings and a sinus infection, running alongside my mom and daughter made it all worth it. Their strength and support helped me push through the race. #grateful #lululemonambassador
