Today President Ana Mari Cauce & University of Washington staff welcomed the Blue Heron Canoe Family during their landing at Friday Harbor Labs. The landing was part of the Tribal Canoe Journey, an annual intertribal tradition. We wish all the canoe families safe travels on this year's Tribal Canoe Journey!

Yesterday, we celebrated School of Nursing Dean Azita Emami, who is moving on to be Yale University's dean of nursing after 10 amazing years w/@UW. We also feted Assoc Dean for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Butch DeCastro, who is going to be Seattle University's dean of nursing. We wish them both the very best!
