This case was never just about photos. It was about scrutiny of state violence. On one side, the state wanted to make it illegal for any of us to possess, share, or publish photos of police. We said: no, the public needs to document and expose the state’s violence. We won.

This case should never have been filed.

L.A. City Attorney Hydee Feldstein Soto dragged us into court to intimidate us, as a political stunt to please her police donors. This is yet another example of taxpayers footing the bill for Feldstein-Soto's frivolous political stunts.

The City of Los Angeles has finally agreed to dismiss their lawsuit to censor watchthewatchers.net.

UCLA students walked out of graduation & held a rally outside- the people’s graduation ceremony with students & faculty for Palestine.

“Our words matter & I know you will continue to lead us toward the horizon that is decolonization & abolition. Free Palestine! Cops off campus!”

What happened at UCLA should be a wake up call to everyone.

I spent the day covering the student protests as they intended to hold space on campus in order to read the names of 46,000 Palestinians killed by Israel.
