Ive worked many award shows and John Leguizamo at the Emmys full on made me cry. To be Latino in this industry, in this country, is to be constantly seen in a negative light and fighting just to be recognized nearly every damn day. HIRE LATINOS!!! Representation DOES matter.

If your #LatinoHeritageMonth campaigns don't include Indigenous and Black Latinos then you have failed.

This is especially wild when you consider that The George Lopez show, Modern Family, Ugly Betty, Jane The Virgin, and One Day At A Time all had Latinas in a supporting role that absolutely were Emmy worthy. The exclusion is systemic and intentional.
