I’ll be boarding my Spirit Airlines plane here in Detroit shortly. Next stop after that - Myrtle Beach. ✈️ 🏝️

I have arrived at Myrtle Beach International Airport. Now, I just have to wait about two hours for Beth to arrive from a different flight. 🏝️ ✈️

After scouting out jobs, we didn’t get to our hotel until after dark, but we were still able to enjoy a beautiful #MyrtleBeach dinner thanks to Hilton Hotels.

I spotted this Great Cormorant fishing today in a little river that ran into the ocean on Myrtle Beach. 🪿

It wouldn’t be a trip to Myrtle Beach without lunch at LandShark Bar & Grill. 🦈

We watched some fishermen on the pier catch dozens of these Cutlassfish today in Myrtle Beach. Apparently they are a delicacy in Korea. Look at those teeth! 😱

We got a lot accomplished on this quick Myrtle Beach trip - can’t wait to call this beautiful place home. 🦋 ❤️ 🦎

It’s probably not a good thing when they make the announcement at the gate that if you want to use the restroom you should use it at the airport because the captain said it’s going to be a “bumpy ride” to Newark, right? 😳 Wish me luck. 🤞

I’m saddened to read about the passing of James Earl Jones. I first fell in love with his work when he provided the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies and still consider “Coming To America,” “Field Of Dreams” and “The Sandlot” among my favorite movies. R.I.P. sir. 🙏

I just passed my 46th kidney stone in the past 4-1/2 years. My last one on July 5 was 5.5 mm, which they told me I had a 50/50 chance of passing without surgery. This one was double that size - the biggest I’ve ever passed. To say that I am relieved is an understatement! 😮‍💨
