I was very impressed by these Oshe Automotive Land Rover based restomods when I called to see them recently. Some really neat touches and the smoothed bodies look fantastic.

Global warming is going well. I seem to remember that the world was going to be frazzled by heat very soon. We've got seas getting cooler and lowest temperatures for nearly 10 years. Whoops, the agenda is slipping. Someone tell Ed quick.

That's it, definitely never giving another penny to The RAC - they've lost the plot completely now. Hit petrol car drivers with pay-per-mile tax, RAC urges Reeves telegraph.co.uk/business/2024/…

Quentin mistakenly using using "we" rather than "I" when saying he doesn't want diesel SUVs. Let the market decide. And 79p vs 7p for electricity is a far bigger price difference than exists for petrol between a local station Vs motorway - in money terms, let alone percent. Shill

Here is an EV which makes sense, certainly in some locations, particularly town and city centres. Pretty useless where I live though!

£26,600 off list price, or 36%. Makes it look cheap when compared to other EV list prices. But it could still drop a long way.

Ed Miliband has approved a number of mass-scale solar panels on UK farmland despite huge local community objections. Solar panels shouldn’t be used on fields that are cultivated for our food growing. Instead, put them on brownfields, car parks, roofs and roads.

This is a really interesting thread which exposes government disinformation about renewable electricity prices - and reality. Hopefully my MP, Jon Trickett MP will question his neighbouring MP Ed Milliband about this and get the document removed.

I think what the Isle of Eigg have done for their electricity is fantastic. But to think that scaling a system which provides for 115 people on an island for the whole of GB electricity needs is farcical. And Eigg have diesel generators as back up. Ed doesn't even want that.

I'm guessing these are very prophetic words from James Rüppert in Autocar this week given the promo for next week's issue. Thankfully there is Substack.

I'm really pleased to have this Tissot LCD watch working again thanks to some advice from MMC - it must be at least 45 years old now.
