There are 28 million American kids aged 5-11. According to CDC 8,300 have been hospitalized w/ Covid and 170 have died. That's a .00029% chance of hospitalization and a .0000067 chance of death. And 42 % have natural immunity. Remind me, why are we vaccinating them?

Elie Mystal Then homeschool!!!! If you think everyone is in a position to be able to afford to stay home with their kids you need to wake up. A lot of parents especially low income single income families rely on schools being open to put food on the table.

I can’t handle people screaming to close schools: sorry kids who live in unsafe homes who rely on schools as their safe place, sorry single income parents who rely on schools to be open to go to work, sorry kids that are already struggling academically.
