I’m having really productive conversations about what we might expect cathedral music teams to do to support rejuvenation and growth in parish church choirs. What about Oxbridge colleges? Who should I speak to, who is interested in strengthening the whole church music ecosystem?

One of my favourite moments of Classic FM Live last night was when a mobile phone rang in the middle of Rhapsody in Blue. Instantly our incredible soloist Hayato Sumino (@880hz) copied it, incorporating it seamlessly into his improvisation 🤯

Yesterday evening, St John's Voices came together to make music again for the first time since news broke of the college's proposal to disband the choir at the end of this academic year. Just listen to that sound... and from their first rehearsal of term, no less! 🤩

What a way to end the tour. Not sure how I’m ever going to come back down from Cloud 9. We sold out Disney Hall!!!!! 3 standing ovations. I will never forget this night ❤️ LA Phil

I lost my mother 8 weeks ago. Before he died my father wrote 'upwards ' in the last page of Elgar's Sea pictures. I will try to sing this piece tonight in Glasgow & Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Last nite Edinburgh. This is for ALL singers who use their bodies to express, through grief and loss, life💔
