Independent investigators must be allowed immediate access.
 
The families of the dead have a right to know what happened.

The world has a right to accountability for any violations of int’l law that may have taken place.

A military assault on Rafah would be an unbearable escalation, killing thousands more civilians & forcing hundreds of thousands to flee.
 
It would have a devastating impact on Palestinians in Gaza, with serious repercussions on the occupied West Bank & across the wider region.

As negotiations are once again underway, I strongly encourage the government of Israel & the Hamas leadership to reach an agreement.

For the sake of the people of Gaza.
For the sake of the hostages & their families.
For the sake of the region & the wider world.

Many developing countries are suffocating in debt & paying outlandish rates for capital.

The 1.5-degree limit is still possible, but not for long.

Ambitious new national climate plans are essential to get countries on that path - with no loopholes, opt-outs or half-measures.

The International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace highlights a fundamental truth: no country can solve today’s challenges alone.
