Our Academy of Finance students had a very busy week last week. Our students Dressed for Success, in person and online! We had a presentation with @stevestowe from the @miamiheat organization. And our Juniors had their virtual Resume Workshop with @kpmg!

Dress for Success is next week on Tuesday and Wednesday depending on which day you have your AOF class. Online students must wear a professional top and be in a professional setting. In-person students must wear a professional top, bottoms and shoes.

Today our Intro to IT class students participated in the Hour of Code. Although we are an Academy of Finance magnet, we know the importance of learning code. Technology is ever evolving and learning how to code will be relevant in any industry students choose to persue.

This week we had George Allen and Sardou Mertilus from RSM present via Zoom on budgeting to our AOF freshman to help them prepare for Mad City Money! Today we had our annual Mad City Money on Zoom where the students were able to learn how manage their expenses and their incomes.
