It’s makes my heart hurt when I see Mormons, who I assume are generally good people, be cruel, especially when it’s cruelty they try to disguise as righteousness. 😪

The best time to leave the Mormon church was yesterday. The second best time is today. Get those letters written, notarized and in the mail and you’ll be an offical exmo within a week!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with crying, no matter your age, gender or anything else. Having big emotions is the most human and beautiful thing about being alive.

My office allows unpaid sabbaticals of up to 3 months and I want to take a month off next summer. Financially, it will be hard but my mind needs a break. I’m burned out. Anyone done this? Curious about how you felt.

Men: we’re women’s protectors & providers Those same men to women who’ve been assaulted -shut up bitch -you aren’t entitled to protection -get a husband sweetie -then live on the street bc a man built ur house -ho, cry to ur mom -Maybe you're a terrible person -u think we care?

I said some men in my life were belittling and rude to me about my sexual assault and harassment experiences and the men in the replies were…guess what… belittling and rude.

This reminds me of how I saw a video where the woman said that she’s not against parenthood…she thinks fatherhood looks pretty fun.

It’ll never not shock me how my family is absolutely ok with my being excluded from a family wedding and that they accept this as good and holy.

Why is the Mormon response to people’s pain at being excluded from temple weddings always rude and insensitive and not “it must really hurt to miss these milestones with your love ones. I’m so sorry”.
