From Physical Review Letters: Scientists created ultrasensitive torsion pendulums using silk nanofibers. These new pendulums achieved optical torque sensitivities of up to a few hundred zepto-Newton-meters and provided results within tens of seconds. Read the paper: go.aps.org/4dUrY9F
