Big day for #BELAS!🦈 We officially started the fieldwork season. 🌊⛵️ 21 out of the 31 Thelma Biotel acoustic receivers are now deployed in the Ría de Vigo attached to different structures: - Buoys - Bateas - Moorings - Auger anchors 10 more to go and we can start tagging ‼️

It's been a busy summer...! Two days searching at sea, and two days hiking the coastline later...Another flapper skate satellite tag recovered with Damien Haberlin 🏆 This data will help us unravel the movements of the largest skate in the world!
