Today I endured what for me was a fairly daunting drive along the long singletrack road towards Rannoch Station. Very much worth it for the superlative views in every direction from Carn Dearg, Sgor Gaibhre and the Corbett Meall na Meoig though 😍

Great day out with Donnie Kennedy bagging the Loch Lochy Munros. The steep climb up the boulders on the nearby Corbett Ben Tee was a worthy addition. Showery in every direction as the day wore on, but not a drop fell on us. Class! 😎

Over 25 years since I was last up Ben Venue in the Trossachs. Forgotten what a fine hill it is, commanding some outstanding views, even in the hazy conditions I encountered 👍

My phone snaps of the Northern Lights can't compete with the quality of the photos appearing on here this morning, but I enjoyed a brilliant summit camp on Ben Cleuch last night 😍 Woke to fabulous birdsong and saw a cheeky red squirrel above Tillicoultry on the way down!

Managed to avoid the showers on our ascent of Beinn Tulaichean and Cruach Ardrain this morning. First time climbing these two from the Inverlochlarig side for me. Burns were all high and very waterlogged ground made for quite a few slips and tumbles on the descent 🤸‍♂️😂

Meikle Bin summit camp last night with Donnie, Lorna and Iain to see the Perseids and Northern Lights. Fantastic wee adventure!

Had the honour of giving my son a wee tour of the Ben today. Up Ledge Route and round the arete to Carn Mor Dearg. I've never seen the summit of the Ben so busy so was a relief to be away from the worst of the crowds for most of the day! Glorious! 🌞🌞🌞
